Giro to Murter

With the weather showing signs of improvement, Isabell and us decided to stretch our sails a bit and head to a favourite spot of ours on Kaprije, followed by a visit to Murter, a place which Caterina was eager to visit. On arriving to Kaprije we found our last year's gunkhole taken, so we rafted and tied to shore at a different spot, near the flat-rocked 'beach' area, on the north side of the island.

In the evening we walked around the rocky shore and over into Kaprije town...

From there we sailed to Murter for a bit of provisioning and 'shopping', followed by anchoring at Vela Luka, a large, protected bay with not much on it shores except...   What's that there... it looks like a jungle restaurant, we should go and take look tonight...

But not before more of this...

In the evening we went to explore the 'jungle-outfit' and discovered an interestingly setup, family-run, easy-going restaurant.  There's no menu, every ancient wooden table is in a different nook, no two chairs the same, the cook/owner comes and asks what' you'd like, and he or his soon delivers...  Meat, fish, grilled vegetables, soup, salads, crepes...  and it was all well and tastily done.

Since more rain, Caterina's parents, and most importantly, boyfriend were coming, we turned our bow(s) to...

...you guessed right!  Rogoznica.  E's B-day was coming up as well, so Caterina and Zia were painting, preparing the banners, wrapping the gifts.

By the time they arrived, the weather improved.  Among all the fun of reunion, Caterina prepared us a delicious pasta carbonara.  Then in the evening, E&G took us all out to dinner to a nice restaurant...

They stayed with us for a long weekend and everyone relaxed enjoying the company, sea and the sun (and some cibo too :-)  Then came Monday afternoon, and we had to say goodbyes again...
