Finally a Test Sail out of Port Credit Yesterday

After being tied up at the Port Credit Harbour Marina for over two months and installing equipment on the boat for most of that time, we finally managed to clean up and go out for a test sail yesterday. It turned out an almost perfect day for sailing, a bit humid and hazy with some cloud cover, but the wind was great in the mid fifteens and up to 22 knots maximum. We had our sons Zalan and Tamas and Tamas' girlfried Sarah with us. Zalan had good fun with the trim (even though we had our Doyle cruising sails on), and got us up to 7kn in 15-17 kn true average upwind.
I tested the Catalina 300 watermaker installation and it worked flawlessly - not a single leak.
This much for the very first post, pictures will follow later... Z
